Corn starch powder
is a natural residue present in
gloves as part of the
manufacturing process.
Powder often makes donning
easier, unless the inside of the
glove is smooth.
Chlorination
Chlorine is released
over the surface of the glove
to remove powder residue
& reduce proteins. After
chlorination the glove is
washed up to 8 times to
ensure all residues are
completely removed
Polymer
Coating
A layer of a polymer
is introduced to the surface to
cover any powder residue
Cuff
length
Different lengths of
cuff may be required by
certain trades.
